This is the Bronco Arena Floor and Refrigeration Replacement Project. J & J Contracting was responsible for the Concrete floor demolition and removal. Another facet was to demo all the old Refrigeration lines and fittings up to the pumps. J & J hauled in fill material to bring the rink up to engineers grade.
This is the Fun du Lac Lake Superior Chippewa Sawyer Biomass project.
The Sawyer Center is a large facility that has offices, classrooms, full kitchen and dining rooms. It also has a Gymnasium with workout facilities and a recreation center with many amenities. The center has a Propane Boiler system in a large mechanical room. The new building contains the Woodmaster Boiler and Javo Top Loader wood chip system and all related components. The new building was located across the parking lot in an empty area so as not to use up valuable space. The Woodmaster Wood Chip Boiler system was tied into the existing propane system which is now used as a backup. This type of project could also be adapted to a variety of other projects. Bruno Zagar the Environmental Director of Fon du Lac was the Key Person who worked this project from start to finish. The Fun du Lac Chairman and Board fully supported this Renewable Wood Energy Project which allowed them to use their wood resources. J & J Contracting was the General Contractor for this project. Joe Donnell a principal of J & J Contacting was the Project Superintendent. This setup could be used by a variety of different operations to utilize space to its fullest and to have an efficient Boiler System that burns renewable fuel and achieves a return on Investment.
